23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.Study notes
Verse 23
All people have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Explanation
Paul has shown that both Jews and non-Jews are under sin (1:18-3:20). There is no difference between them in this: all have sinned. The next verse speaks of the remedy.
