Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.
Hebrews 10:23
Read chapter

Study notes

Let us hold firmly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.

Explanation

Because Jesus has opened the way to God (10:19-22), the writer gives three calls: draw near (10:22), hold fast (10:23) and encourage one another (10:24-25). Holding on is possible because God keeps His promises.
