Study notes

Jesus says salvation is impossible for people, but with God all things are possible.

Explanation

A rich young man has just gone away sad (19:16-22), and Jesus said it is hard for the rich to enter the kingdom (19:23-24). The disciples ask who can be saved. Jesus answers that no one can save themselves, but God can.
