Hosea 6:3

So let us know— let us press on to know the LORD. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the earth.
Hosea 6:3

Study notes

Let us press on to know the Lord; He will come as surely as the dawn and like the spring rain.

Explanation

These words call Israel to return to the LORD (6:1-3). God's answer that follows (6:4-6) shows that their devotion was short-lived. The call to truly know Him remains.
